GIVING BACK

FOUNDATION

Established in 2001, the Lightbridge Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization supporting parents and children along life's journey. Its work is central to the core beliefs of all Lightbridge Family members. To us, committing to meeting the needs of all parents and children is a natural extension of our Circle of Care philosophy, inspiring everything we do as a company. We realize that the well-being of our educators, parents, children and even our vendors contribute to the strength of our communities, enriching our lives in countless ways. Instead of focusing on a single cause, our foundation provides a wide range of services to people within our Circle of Care

DONATED OVER $550,000 TO CHILDREN & FAMILIES IN NEED!

  • $500 scholarships earmarked for high school seniors who desire to pursue a college education. It is our hope that they will continue to "pay it forward" by serving as an inspiration and future leader in education.
  • Direct grants to assist parents in covering expenses for a wide range of challenges including treatment of pediatric illnesses, necessary therapy and assistance recovering after natural disasters.
  • Local charities such as Hometown Heroes, Fighting Children's Cancer Foundation, The children's Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation, Wounded Warrior Project, local food banks, homeless shelters and many other important causes.
  • Serving as volunteers for special projects in the community.

HOW WE DO IT

Every Lightbridge Academy center is actively involved in fundraising efforts by participating in a variety of events. Staff enjoy donating and the children learn the fundamental importance of giving back. Whether bringing canned goods to support the local food pantry, making snacks to sell at the bake sale or rolling up their sleeves at the Parent Car Wash, children learn a happy heart is a giving one!
